Facilities

Dynavac's 50,000-sq.-ft. facility is located approximately 20 miles south of Boston. The facility was built specifically for the production of our equipment and includes low- and high-bay manufacturing space, clean assembly areas, and administration offices.

The fabrication area is fully equipped for welding, machining, assembly, painting, and testing. Electrical control systems are fabricated on-site and integrated with the vacuum equipment.

Dynavac’s materials management system provides an efficient and organized method of inventory control. Project materials and certifications are identified, inspected, stored and tracked so that customers can be assured their systems are being built using only high quality components.

Click image to EnlargeOur 3000-sq.-ft. dedicated high-bay assembly area is equipped with an overhead crane, industrial electric power distribution, and chilled water to perform assembly and startup in a clean environment. An additional 1,000-sq.-ft clean room also provides a controlled environment for system assembly and testing. The room is designed for easy conversion to a Class 1,000 clean room for ultra-clean processing of components and subsystems.

Customers will be interested to learn that Dynavac has completed construction on an addition to handle painting and baking processes on site. The new paint booth greatly enhances Dynavac’s ability to control the painting process, thereby increasing manufacturing efficiency and quality. The new contamination-free paint booth, which measures 18’ high x 46’ wide x 12’ deep, is now operational. It is equipped with an air handling system to meet OSHA safety requirements and EPA environmental standards. The benefits to customers are reduced manufacturing time and fewer risks associated with handling.
