High Volume Production

We're able to accomplish rapid production of parts with large batch-type systems or using inline systems with load-locks and automated parts handling. Dynavac incorporates either evaporation or sputtering processes into these systems.

Dynavac configured a large double-door for high-volume production of precision optical components using electron-beam evaporation sources with ion-assisted deposition (IAD). While processing one batch of parts, another batch can be loaded in the second chamber door. Each door accommodates a substrate rotation system. See picture below.

Using drum-style rotating cages, we can load many parts into a waiting cage while depositing on a cage in the chamber. Carts are used to enable the rapid exchange of cages for loading and unloading. We can also accommodate flip tooling for coating both sides of the parts.
